Ali Shan Gao Shan Wu Long Cha (阿里山 高山烏龍茶) – High Mountain Alishan Oolong Tea. This tea is grown in the heart of the Taiwan Island. It is the location of a huge mountain range called Alishan (A Li Mountains) and the tea has inherited the name. Moreover, Alishan is a national park protected by the state. These places are incredibly beautiful!
Alishan has a delicate aroma and bouquet. This Oolong is unlike any of Chinese Oolongs. Entirely different. A different flavour. A different taste. Other sensations. Other emotions.
It’s very light, almost transparent, deliciously gentle and tender tea. It is perfectly sincere. This tea magnetizes.
You will easily discover shades of spring and the morning sun. There is a hint of flowers and honey here. Here, sweetness befriends caramel overtones, fragrance makes love to aftertaste. A fabulous tea! Outstanding!
I would’ve loved to tell more and more about the beautiful bouquet and taste of this tea but I afraid to get carried away as then there’ll be no stopping. I highly recommend you try it.
