This mini cake is called Youle Shan Da Shu Cha Nong Xiang Xing (攸乐山大树茶浓香型) – Youle Mountain (now called Jinuo Mountain) Big Tea Tree Strong Flavor. It is produced at the factory 景洪攸乐山大自然茶厂 (Jinghong Youle Shan Daziran Cha Chang). This factory is located in the mountains of Jinuо – 基诺山 (Jinuo Shan). This region, the Jinuo Mountains, is considered one of the most respected places for Pu-erh tea production and has been listed as the first of the Six Great Tea Mountains. This Ripe Pu-erh is produced from medium-sized upper leaves with a large number of buds. This is evident by orange flakes on the surface. (In deep fermentation, tiny furs on the tea buds shift to orange color).
The taste of tea is nice, gentle. There are no sharp corners or hooks. No dominant shades such as excessive bitterness or astringency. This is an excellent everyday tea. It is inexpensive and balanced.
Perhaps this is one of the best Ripe Pu-erh teas for those who discover Pu-erh for the first time.
